Mar 26 – Are you nearing your tipping point? Are you about to give up on something you’ve been working hard towards because it doesn’t seem like there’s been any traction or movement? Do you feel that a lot of effort has been put in, with little gratification? Have you intentionally slowed your momentum, beginning to believe that it may not be worth the effort? Reaching the finish line towards an important goal can oftentimes feel like the distance is getting further away instead of closer.
If you’re continuously expecting significant progress, you may not be appreciating the small steps that have gotten you where you are right now. Just like small steps can move you forward, little tweaks may be able to move you further.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to the small shifts you can consider based on successes you’ve realized up to this point. Is there a connection that you are not making? Is there a reconnection that needs to happen with someone? Could you alter your outreach approach in some small way that will be more meaningful to whom you are connecting with? Do you need an answer that someone else could provide from a different perspective? Are you making ongoing consistent effort towards the goal? Or are you making significant effort for short periods of time and then stopping to focus on other things? Small steps and shifts will create momentum far greater than giant leaps. When you are consistent and persistent, your goal is always within reach. Unwavering energy is more impactful than bursts of energy.
