Need to release to gain?

August 21 – Need to release to gain? Do you need to release some of your commitments or obligations in order to better focus on what is more important to your forward trajectory? Is there anything you need to let go of in order to have more time and the ability to focus on what you really want to be doing? What do you need to release for good because it’s not supporting what you truly believe your priorities to be? What do you need to lose control of simply by handing off to somebody else so that you can focus on your higher priority initiatives?

When you’re not able to focus on what you really want to be doing, it’s time to look at what is preventing you from the momentum you desire. If areas in which you would like to see achievement or gains in your life for your work are in stagnation, it’s time to reassess your priorities.

Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to all the areas that are distracting you, depleting you, overwhelming you, or not serving you. What are things that continue to distract you from your priorities and your most desired activities? How can you minimize these distractions? What is depleting your energy or draining you emotionally or mentally that you need to eliminate, let go of, or delegate where possible? What is overwhelming you is ways that are stressing you to the point you cannot focus on anything? How much of this is because you don’t want to lose control or hand off to someone else? What is no longer serving you in a way that supports or empowers you, and can you shift or modify so it is more in alignment with your goals and objective? Through a self-analysis of your current situation, you will empower your ability to realize positive momentum and gains once again. It starts with making your priorities a priority.
