Nov 15 – Feeling a bit unworthy? Have you come so far in all you have accomplished and achieved, yet still find yourself doubting yourself? Have you reached a certain pinnacle of success, and yet find yourself feeling unworthy because of a recent setback or challenge? Do you believe you have what it takes but worry too much about what others think in whether you have what it takes?
There is a difference between self-worth, confidence, and self-esteem. Each has nuances that can inspire you or cripple you when you believe things within your own mind that are not serving you, inspiring you, or are at the very core of you.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to your inner amazingness. In this world where achievement merely gets replaced with the next achievement, take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate you right here and now in this space, place, and moment. If you are feeling a lack of confidence, make a list of everything you already have achieved because you had the confidence to stick to it, be willing to fail and get back up, and learn and grow. If you are feeling unworthy, make a list of why you ARE worthy -- why you deserve and have the right to sit and be in that space of worthiness for you and from deep within you. If your self-esteem has taken a hit because of a recent setback or challenge, make a list of all you can gain and learn. Instead of allowing what has happened defeat you or define you, how can you make it something that invigorates and motivates you? Show yourself some self-compassion and self-assurances through these reminders. And remember. You have what it takes deep from within. Cream rises to the top once you stir up its richness.
