Nov 1 – Need to get uncomfortable? Have you gotten fairly set in your ways? Do you feel comfortable with where you are right now in your life or business? Are you not really taking any risks right now for a variety of reasons? Do you feel excited and inspired each day or just in a routine mode? Is your business staying ahead of the curve or potentially falling behind without you realizing it?
When you get too comfortable, complacency can set it. In your business, it can be a rude awakening down the line when you start realizing some of the momentum you previously built is losing ground. In your life, you may begin to feel bored, or lose some of your vigor around things you once loved doing.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to the reality that you may be just a little too comfortable. When was the last time you felt challenged or needing to overcome an obstacle of some sort? When was the last time you learned something or did something that put you out of your comfort zone? How might you be holding yourself, your business, or others back because you are accepting status quo? Answers to these questions may offer some answers that make you a bit uncomfortable or uncertain. And guest what? That is okay. Being uncomfortable is not to be feared. Being uncomfortable invites you to learn, grow, and seize opportunities that present themselves.
