June 8 – What are you afraid of? Does an underlying fear exist within you that is keeping you from achieving or going after something you would love to happen in your life? Or could it be that you can’t quite understand why you are not able to make strides in what you are trying to achieve, as if something is holding you back or keeping you from what you truly desire?
Fear is a double-edged sword. It exists to protect you, yet it can actually hold you back in ways that are not serving you. The ability to look inside of yourself and acknowledge what you fear may happen or what you fear exists is your first step to overcoming and triumphing.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to your fears with a mindset of curiosity and courage. Are you caught within one of these fearful thinking mindsets? Fear of success? Fear of failure? Fear of losing control? Fear of letting go? Fear of taking risks? Fear of being ordinary? How are these showing up within you? What is the trigger that causes you to a state of inaction? Is your fear tied to worry? Are you supposing worse outcomes instead of desired possibilities? How can your curiosity shift your perspective more optimistically? When curiosity and courage align, fear is replaced with conviction.
