August 18 – Wishing for a do over? Have some things not gone as you had hoped, and you are now wishing you could start all over again? Has a recent setback or challenge caused you to doubt your judgment? Have you pursued an opportunity only to find it not pan out as expected? Has a recent mistake or misstep caused you to beat yourself up due to the inconvenience of the undesirable result or feeling you should have known better?
When you get caught up in wishing things were different, you are allowing everything outside of you to have more power than what is inside of you. When you feel the least blessed is when you need to embrace how blessed you truly are.
Take an MM&I Moment to reawaken your inner mojo. Make a list of all the things that are still going right, no matter how small and insignificant they may seem. Consider whatever it is that has not gone as you had hoped and how it could potentially be setting you up for something even better than you could have imagined. And now, instead of focusing on what hasn’t happened, focus on what you can still do to get your efforts back on track. Intention combined with ongoing action creates momentum and reinforces how much you have within your control. It doesn’t take luck to realize great strides; it merely takes inspired action combined with unwavering faith.
