July 8 - Feeling caught in uncertainty? Have the last few months made you feel uncertain about the future or which direction you need to go? Do you feel trapped in a situation that appears to be keeping you in limbo, without anything really moving you forward? Uncertainty and unexpected disruptions are never easy, but they should not be the things controlling you. You have the power and the blessing to determine your next steps regardless of any situations. Nothing can stop your ability to choose.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken to the opportunities hidden within the uncertainty and limbo. Whatever is causing the uncertainty, list your ideal outcome. Then identify and write the very next step you could take or what you may need to learn or find out to move forward towards this outcome. If you are uncertain about which direction you should go due to your current circumstance, list all the potential directions being considered, along with what is most appealing about each one of the directions. Determine which direction honors your core values the best. Then consider all your goals and determine which direction will honor what you strive to become the best. If you are feeling caught in limbo, list all the aspects of the situation that are making you feel this way. Then next to each aspect, note one thing you can do, no matter how simple, to shift it into motion towards progress or emotional nurturing towards fulfillment. By believing in your own ability to move forward, nothing can hold you back from where you want to go or who you want to be.
