Apr 15 – Are you being consumed by Zoom? Are you feeling like you have less time than you did before due to all the online meetings and connecting that are going on? Are you having a hard time saying “no” to a virtual gathering because you don’t want to appear uncaring or antisocial? Is your craving to see others making you connect continuously with the outside world, even if it can only be virtually? While the desire for human contact is great, if you also don’t take time for yourself, you could be depriving yourself of much needed rejuvenation, replenishment and enrichment. To know yourself better is to transform what has been into what can be.
Take an MM&I Moment to awaken your worthiness to protect some of your time for you and only you. Instead of zooming outward, why not zoom inward? What if you took some time to decide what is most important to you? What if you took time to explore what intrigues you? What if you took time to create a special space for you to retreat in and escape within your own home? What if you took time to enjoy nature and the sunshine? What if you took time to ignite your creativity? What if you took time to explore your home with appreciative eyes to recognize special memories, keepsakes, and all that you have to enjoy? When your mindset is being influenced by what you don’t have or aren’t able to do, it is the best time to embrace what is within you awaiting discovery.
