Apr 1 – Are you fooling yourself? How are you limiting your thinking in what you can and are able to do? How are you accepting what is dictated to you as what must be accepted? What is still available to you that you may be taking for granted? What is within your reach that you are not accessing or exploring? Yes, “social distancing” is absolutely essential right now for your health and wellbeing. The reality is, we are to “physically” distance ourselves, NOT socially distance ourselves. You have a world of access at your fingertips once you view it for the powerful tool and resource that it can be to stay connected.
On this April Fool's Day, take an MM&I Moment to awaken your open-mindedness to embrace what you have available to you right under your own roof. To put things into perspective, imagine life and work without the Internet and its virtual access. Make a list of all the things you would not be able to do if you did not have this virtual access. Now consider what you can do. Who can you Facetime with via social media or your phone app to strategize on ways you can shift in your life, work or your business? What group or connections can you arrange a virtual pow-wow with to share ideas and stimulate more ideas? What do you now have time to learn or expand your knowledge to better prepare yourself for your future? Do you have a self-help book or articles you have piled awaiting to be read? Start reading and open your mind to what you are learning and how it can help you now. You have more within your power and reach than you are allowing yourself to see. Open your mind so your eyes can see.
