Mar 18 – Is scarcity all consuming? Amidst our national crisis, are you focused so much on what you can’t get or don’t have that you have forgotten about all that you already have readily available to you? Are you lamenting over how you are being limited and dictated to more than how you are being freed up? When you become so focused on being without, it is time to go deep within and remind yourself what can never be taken away from you, unless you allow it.
Take an MM&I Moment to reawaken your appreciation and gratitude for all that you still have within your reach and within your control. When scarcity consumes you, you are not allowing all that you already have strengthen you. A focus on possibilities in how you can now spend your time due to so many cancellations can be eye-opening and life changing. Consider priorities that can come to the forefront that had been pushed aside due to so many demands. Consider relationships that can be nurtured under your roof. Some of the greatest ideas of our modern time were devised as a solution amidst a limitation or what appeared to be a restriction being imposed. Instead of wishing “if only,” be empowered to embrace “what if.”
