April 30, 2018 - Are you being true to you? Have you been so focused on all that needs to be accomplished and the many demands tugging away at your every moments, that you feel you have lost yourself in all the chaos? Are the wants and needs of others taking precedence over your own desires to the point that you are continuously putting what you want on hold? There is nothing selfish about taking some time to reconnect and re-engage with yourself in order to realign and re-prioritize what is important to you and for you. When you begin to put yourself last, you are actually not allowing yourself to be all that you can ultimately be for others.
Take an MM&I Moment to revisit what you truly would like to be happening in your life. List what would bring you great satisfaction. List what you miss doing and feeling. List ways you can bring this satisfaction back into your life, do what you want to be doing, and feel the way you want to be feeling. List what needs to stop or discontinue, and make a commitment to yourself to take action in this regard as well. Being true to yourself, the very core of who you are, will not only bring you peace and empowerment, it will also inspire you in ways that positively impact others because you are honoring the unique aspects of you that everyone else can enjoy and appreciate ... because you are being authentically you.
Synergized Quote of the Week
"At some point, a flash of sustained clarity reveals the difference between what someone would have you believe is true, and what you know from the depths of your own heart to the peaks of your soul to be true. What happens after that is up to you." - Aberjhani
