April 2, 2018 - Are you focusing forward? Are you allowing your past to dictate too much of your present actions? Are you focusing too much on what has already occurred, instead of what you can make happen right now? While learning from the past has merit, you can give your past too much power if it is keeping you from taking actions that could best serve your future. If the past and your thinking around it is actually holding you back, it is time to release it from your thoughts and move forward into all the possibilities of the future.
Take an MM&I Moment to shift your thinking from your past to your unlimited future. List anything that you are hesitating to do because of past influences. Then list a forward-motion action you can take right now to eliminate the fear you have about taking the action. No matter how small that action might be, commit to taking that action today, not tomorrow, not next week. Today! After taking that action, commit to taking another action to build upon it tomorrow, and then the next day, and then the next day. Through focusing on moving forward, you are shifting your energy to the here and now, and most important of all, towards where you are meant to be.
