March 12, 2018 - Are you trusting yourself? Have you gotten a feeling about something but cannot quite put your finger on why you are feeling that way? Have you found yourself sometimes reacting or feeling a certain way ... such as butterflies or an unsettling in the stomach for what seems like no reason? Do you shrug these feelings off, or do you pause to understand what your intuition is trying to tell you? Just as when you feel like you are forgetting something, and then you realize later that feeling was spot on, so are the many other feelings your physical senses bring to you, if you take a moment to try to understand what your instincts are trying to convey.
Think about a recent situation where you had this "feeling" that you were not sure why you were feeling that way. Ask yourself what was happening around you at the time. Ask yourself what you were thinking about at that time, who you were talking to, or communicating with at the time. If you were feeling anxious, like butterflies in your stomach, ask yourself what you might be nervous about that may be coming into your future, or that you are excited about in anticipation. If it is an uncomfortable feeling, do a gut check on your values. Is there a value you hold dear that is being challenged, not honored, or that you feel is not in alignment with someone else? Our inner wisdom is more powerful than any of us give credit for to guide us to our next best steps of action. Pause and ask yourself questions, and listen to the answers and what is being communicated from within, and you will be amazed at how these insights can guide you.
