Oct 9, 2017 - Are you saying or doing? Are you talking about things you are going to do, but haven't actually done anything to move them forward? Do you tell others your intentions, and yet these intentions have remained possibilities with no effort towards doing what you said you were going to do? OR are you on the other side of the spectrum where you are relying on someone who is saying, yet not doing? Your actions speak volumes in what your priorities are, including inaction when someone else is not doing as they had stated or promised. If it is you who is not doing, then you need to understand why you are avoiding or hesitating. If it is someone else that is not doing, then you need to decide what you are willing to accept. In either case, you are in complete control of your outcomes.
Take an MM&I Moment to explore the saying versus doing that is occurring in your life. What are the reasons action is not being taken? What are the underlying concerns, doubts, confidences, or pressures that could be inhibiting progress or efforts? What are you most passionate about with regard to finally doing what you need or desire to be done? What difference will moving forward or beyond where you currently are make in your life or someone else's life? Embrace your words with action. Decide if there is another way to accomplish what is needed if someone else simply cannot or will not take action. Most important, confirm what is a priority for you, and then make it your priority through your actions.
