May 9, 2016 - Caught in the same old, same old? Have you settled into your way of doing things, and while it is comfortable to you, the results are not as you had ultimately hoped? Do you feel as though there is nothing that is really stimulating, motivating or spurring you forward beyond where you are currently? Are you feeling stuck where you are currently, and not certain how to get out of what seems to be a pattern of sameness or repetitive disappointments? Boredom and a feeling of being stuck are exactly what you profess them to be. You have total control to change your feelings from an existence of monotony or mental paralysis to being inspired and motivated to manifest a better way of being and doing.
Take an MM&I Moment to understand how you are feeling and why you are feeling this way. Are you doing the same things or approaching what you do in ways that are comfortable, while not as
effective, because it is less risky in your mind? Does the thought of trying something new make you uncomfortable? If you are feeling that nothing is exciting or interesting in your life, what
are you doing to make it more exciting or interesting? Are you learning or trying anything new? Are you meeting anyone new? If recent or past disappointments are weighing heavy on you, making it
difficult to think beyond them, take a moment to give thanks that they are behind you, and focus instead on the very next thing you could do because of all that you learned and gained insight
from as a result of those experiences. Sometimes you are the source of motivation you need to truly realize your own power to create a different present and future. Embrace this power from within
and you will find that your curiosity will lead you to a rich and gratifying your life.
Synergized Quote of the Week
"Keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." - Walt Disney
Embracing your own willpower and ability to move forward is something in which you have total control. Do not underestimate your own ability to move forward. Be curious. Be inspired by new things.
