April 11, 2016 – Are you afraid of trying? Are you doubting your ability to see something through? Are you intimidated by exploring or venturing into unknown or unfamiliar territory on your journey towards achieving your goals? When you want something bad enough, trying isn't an option, doing is. The only way to achieve anything is by doing, which means you must take a leap of faith in yourself when it comes to anything that is laced with uncertainty. If we knew exactly what to do at all time, then the predictability would become less satisfying and appealing.
Take an MM&I Moment to understand why you are hesitating to try and how you can shift into a "do" mindset. What can you do right now to move forward? What
action can you take to learn more, know more, or understand more? Ask yourself why you feel intimidated and what would make you feel less overwhelmed. Consider the option if you don't make the
attempt, and how you will feel. What can motivate you into action on a regular basis? No matter what you want to do, you are the catalyst of making it happen or not. Embrace this and you
will find that trying is no longer something you consider, because you are too busy doing.
