June 1, 2015 - Are you all in? Are you truly committed to making your dreams a reality, or are you merely hoping to see them come into being? Are you sacrificing things or relationships you truly would prefer not to have to let go? Do you believe that you must make sacrifices in order to realize your ultimate desires? The commitment I am talking about does not use sacrifice as a means of realizing one's dreams. I am talking about conviction, resolve and open-mindedness to see opportunities and options, and then embrace them with gusto for all that they can be. Too many people view achieving goals as a need to sacrifice other things. When you view things from a limiting mindset, you are likely limiting yourself in pursuing what your ultimately desire.
Take an MM&I Moment to understand the type of commitment you are making to achieve your goals. What are you sacrificing right now that you wish was not the case? List these things and then consider the possibility of how re-engaging with these aspects of your life could add satisfaction for you as you journey toward reaching your dreams. What we value and appreciate in life should never take a back burner. Once we realize it is the joy from these things that make achieving our dreams that much richer, we open ourselves to a level of satisfaction and gratitude that opens the floodgates to true achievement and a lifetime of satisfaction and contentment.
