Dec 8, 2014 - Are you questioning your worth? Have recent events or a financial setback caused you to doubt your contributions or abilities? Are you beginning to wonder if you are ever going to reap the rewards that you envision for you hard work, dedication and passion in what you are doing? Putting a price tag on your success or yourself can be a double-edged sword that limits you more than it inspires and empowers you. Too often our emphasis on monetary measurement clouds our ability to be as effective, which then sabotages our ability to gain financially in the process.
Take an MM&I Moment to consider other ways to measure your value in what you are doing. What difference are you making that is having long-term impact? What contribution are you giving that no one else can provide in quite the same way? What gratification are you experiencing because of how it makes you feel? Placing your emphasis and focus on the array of value you bring to any endeavor will shift you to a higher realm of appreciation, acceptance, and achievement. You will radiate a level of confidence and competency that will translate into more opportunities. And interestingly enough, the financial reward flows easier as well. Funny how that works, isn't it?
