Oct 25, 2010 – Are you out to prove something? Are you out to prove something that everyone else thought could not be done? Are you excited by the prospect of realizing it when it finally happens? The real question is: Are you doing this to prove it to others or are you more interested in the satisfaction of proving it to yourself for others?
Take an MM&I Moment and consider all the reasons you want to prove this venture or feat. Are the reasons in alignment with your ultimate purpose and a benefit that will be realized or are they focused more around proving something to others? Consider refocusing your efforts around reasons that make a difference for long-lasting impact and stop worrying about proving others wrong. Once you are on a mission of making a difference versus putting others in their place you have just catapulted your ability to succeed beyond imagination.
