Dec 14, 2009 – Are you wishing you could go back? Do you find yourself wishing things were the way they used to be? Have these challenging times gotten you in a rut of past-mindedness? Instead of trying to get back to where you were, how about trying to make better of where you are? Always choose better over going back. Wishing for the past is the same as worrying about the future. Neither helps you get where you want to go, and they both keep you from taking the necessary action to get you where you want to be.
Take an MM&I Moment to get yourself out of your funk by treating yourself to something entirely different. What are some things you have always wanted to do? What is something you have always wanted to try? Where is a place close by that you have always wanted to visit? Sometimes the best attraction to taking action is an enjoyable distraction. The most productive thing you can do right now is something entirely out of the norm to help you gain a fresh perspective and more positive outlook. Treat yourself. You deserve it.
